WebThe primary structure of 3′-imino[60]fulleryl-3′-deoxythymidine ions is studied using mass spectrometry both in the positive and negative modes. Webthioformamide (28.0 mg, 0.459 mmol) in 1,4-dioxane (2.9 mL) was irradiated under microwaves at 100 ºC for 10 min. The reaction mixture was diluted with ethyl acetate (25 mL) and washed with a 1 M solution of NaOH in water (25 mL). The aqueous phase was extracted with ethyl acetate (2 × 15 mL).
