WebDec 17, 2024 · I suspect there is a bug in FM23 that wasn't there in FM22. More specifically: When a player with settled status (non-UK player playing in the UK) agrees to a new contract and is given a work permit, it seems like the work permit actually isn't given after all. After signing, the player is still listed with settled status.
