WebNov 4, 2024 · STL downloaded in Cura 3.0.4 (using Fusion 360 to draw it) and in the solid view I can see all the holes. But going to layer view the holes are gone. In the solid view there are on both surfaces 4x holes.. In the layer view only the vertical surface has holes 4x.. The horizontal surface does not contain any holes anymore. WebDec 16, 2024 · It seems there are some missing lines on the outer wall on the Z-axis with my prints. I'm not able to pinpoint the problem. WebNov 8, 2024 · Set your Print settings > Support > Minimum support area = '0'. This will keep all generated supports. The risk of this method, is that thin and fragile supports might be generated. Inspect the layer view of your slice to prevent any failed prints. Solution 2. Set your Print settings > Support > Support horizontal expansion = '2'. WebTypically this "missing layer" effect happens if the source has a wall thickness less than the size of the extruder nozzle selected. Cura will view that part of the model as non-printable. Meshmixer and TinkerCad (among many others) will allow you to set and change thicknesses in the model.
